Gather · Create · Unwind
Cozy, beginner-friendly art workshops — watercolor, wood painting, weaving, and embroidery. Slow down, learn old-fashioned creative skills, and make something beautiful with your own hands at Palette Art Studio.
Hygge (say it “hoo-gah”) is the Danish art of warm, cozy togetherness — a nod to the Danish roots of founder Amber Waters, and the feeling behind every workshop. Amber brings 20+ years in the professional art field as a University of Central Florida graduate and digital artist.

Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) is a Danish word for the feeling of cozy, contented togetherness — warm light, good company, and simple things made with care. The name is a nod to founder Amber Waters’ Danish ancestry, and to the heart of what she does: gathering people around a table to slow down and create.
The Hygge Hearth grew out of Amber’s previous studio, Smooth Waters — so you’re in the right place. The address is staying put for now, and every link and bookmark keeps working.
